Ingredients
  • 2 brown onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 tsp coconut sugar
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 250g crème fraîche
  • 3 Tbsp chives (finely chopped)
  • Butter
  • Salt and pepper
Method
  1. Heat a generous knob of butter in a large pan over low-medium heat.
  2. Add the onions and cook until caramelised, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Turn up the heat and add the vinegar and coconut sugar, cook for a minute or until the sugar has melted into the onions and the vinegar has reduced; set aside and allow to cool.
  4. Once cooled, add the onions to a bowl with the crème fraîche and chives and mix well to combine.
  5. Serve with some chopped veggies and your favourite chips (we love this dip with the Apple Cider Vinegar Proper Chips).
